My Journey
My Reiki path began on a Sunday afternoon in 1997 with my first Master Teacher, Brenda Boyd‑Bell, Ph.D.
The experience was profound. I did not want to leave the Reiki table. The warmth, comfort, and deep sense of goodness resonated in my core. That same day, I received my first Reiki Attunement.
There was no elaborate workshop. No extensive preparation. Simply hands placed, chakras introduced, and the instruction to practice self‑healing. And so, I did. Within a year, I was guided to my Level II Master Teacher.
Two years later, I was attuned as a Level III Reiki Master Teacher.
Then Spirit spoke clearly: “You are to be impeccable for the students coming to you. Go to Sedona.”
In June 2007, I traveled to Sedona, Arizona, to The Infinite Light Healing Center, where I completed Advanced Reiki Training and Advanced Master Teacher certification through the International Center for Reiki Training (Usui/Tibetan system of healing).
This marked the second time I invested in Master Teacher training — a testament to my commitment to excellence and integrity in this work.
Over time, I have continued to expand my skillset, training in additional complementary and alternative healing modalities
that now serve as tools within my practice.

I give Honor to our Creator, my Ancestors, and my beloved parents, Troy B. Boyd, Sr., and Ardrie I. Boyd, who now walk in the ancestral realm. I am the eighth of eleven children, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York — grounded in faith, resilience, service, and community.
A Lifelong Calling to Healing
I have been a Reiki Practitioner since 1997 and began facilitating Reiki Level I & II workshops in 2003. Over the years, I have attuned hundreds of students, including Reiki Level III Masters and Master Teachers. My students range in age from 5 to 95 years, reflecting my belief that healing is for every generation.
Based in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, my work is both mobile and global. I have facilitated Reiki Attunement Workshops across the United States and internationally, including:

Since 2005, I have facilitated Reiki workshops at Hillside International Truth Center in Atlanta, along with numerous venues throughout various cities and states.
Ordination & Divine Assignment
As I was increasingly invited into hospital rooms and private homes to offer the healing touch, another message came:
I was to be Ordained.
In October 2006, after required preparation and training, I was Ordained into the Madonna Ministry, a Global Interdenominational Ministry.
This affirmed what I already knew — my healing work is spiritual service.

I am the author of Reiki Training Manuals for Levels I, II, and Master Teacher, as well as numerous published articles on healing and wellness.
Founder & Community Leader
I am the Founder and Director of Reiki Vibrations, LLC, an organization comprised of alternative and complementary medicine practitioners dedicated to community wellness.
